The Europa Institute supports a postgraduate research group and a student society.

The Edinburgh Europa Research Group is the postgraduate forum for European affairs at the University of Edinburgh. Europa RG holds its Seminar Series of research presentations and it organises occasional panel discussions and conferences. The Group provides a space for researchers, in particular PhD students and Early Career Researchers, to present their work in European studies and to receive feedback in a friendly and constructive environment. The Europa RG Seminar Series is funded by the Edinburgh Europa Institute.

The Edinburgh University European Union Society is the University’s student society on Europe and the European Union. EUSoc puts on academic and social events, including lectures, panel discussions, forums, debates and more. Past speakers to the Society include Scottish Government ministers, EU Member State ambassadors, Members of the Scottish Parliament, Members of the European Parliament, senior academics, journalists and think tankers. Students at the University can join the Society online or at events.
